Day 26 - Camp-A-Way - Lincoln, NE

Travel to Lincoln, NE

Today, we broke camp at 9 am and headed East towards Lincoln, NE and Camp-A-Way, Campground.  There's not much to say about the drive except there were many, many cars and trucks.  We think we are definitely back in civilization.  Almost all of the drive was farm land with cattle and corn crops.  It looked much like below.

Corn, corn and more corn for as far as the eye could see.
We made it into Lincoln about 2:30 pm and set up camp and took the dogs for a walk.  We just had a wonderful dinner of open face roast beef sandwich which Dinah made for us.  She is quite the cook.  I just got back from a wonderful hot shower and thought I'd finish this update for today.

Below is a couple of pictures of the campground.  We are very close to downtown Lincoln and it's a very pretty site.  It's a little cramped, but this is parent's weekend at Nebraska University and a football weekend, also.  We will be getting out of town on Friday morning to avoid the insanity this weekend.

LUV 2 U All! once again.  We will probably be antiquing tomorrow.  Dinah has identified three antique malls and plans to hit them all.  I don't know that I will be going with her.  I may stay at the trailer with the dogs.

Our next stop after this will be Columbia, MO on football weekend, but we have a nice place picked out and we're hoping it won't be too crazy.  We will be arriving there on Friday afternoon.  We will be checking out on Sunday and headed to Paducah, KY.  That will be our last stop before heading for home.

Thanks for all the prayers.  See you soon!
