Friday - Second Posting

   Well we found the antique stores.  The first one was the jackpot, Dinah found a new doll and I found a signed copy of a book by Ken Griffis called "Hear My Song - The Story of the Celebrated SONS OF THE PIONEERS"!  There was also an autographed photograph to go with it.  No Roy Rogers (Lenord Slye) autograph, but I have always admired this group and love their music.  My love of music, especially singing and harmonizing were encouraged by groups like these guys.  What a sound and what a story.

  We went into Macon, MO. looking for another antique shop and found some homemade honey and after getting a little tired, we found a RexAll Drug Store downtown that still had the soda fountain.  Sooooo, we went in and had a coke float and rested our legs for the trip back to the camper.  See the pic, below.

   Once again, the weather was great!  Low humidity, mid 80's, with a light breeze blowing.  It was great just lounging under the shade trees by the camper and enjoying the moment!  Tomorrow is on to the Disney museum in Marceline, Missouri and then to Missouri Star Quilt Co. in Hamilton, MO.  Till then...LUV 2 U all!
