Click the Title above to see the pictures of the new paint job my son, Patrick and his friend, Bowser, put on our MG Midget this weekend.
They did a great job! There is still a little work left to do. A little touch up here and there, but the results are amazing.
We used a single stage urethane paint and clear that we purchased from Eastwood.
It worked great! For a garage paint job, I'm pretty impressed.
No down draft booth, just a window fan to blow out the fumes and some plastic sheet to protect the rest of the garage along with some breathing and skin protection was all that was used.
So, what do you think? See the reflections?
I will be posting some of my adventures with Friends and Family. My son and I have restored an MG Midget and are currently working on a 66 Chevy C10 Pickup which I will be posting about. Dinah and I are traveling to Yellowstone National Park on our initial retirement trip and you can follow our progress on this site.
